Pastor Tom Kramer
Pastor Kramer was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior when he was 15 years old, after hearing the testimonies of other young people who had come to Jesus Christ through faith. After being saved for about a year, he became involved in a home Bible Study group and sought to better understand the Scriptures, and wanted to be more involved in ministry. He began teaching Bible classes in his high school when he was 16.

When he was 18 years old he learned of a mentorship program to train pastors in a local church and moved to Chillicothe, Ohio. He made the move with his life savings of $200 and a trunk containing all of his belongings to become more involved in the program. His future wife, Gayle, was already a member of that church.

The training program consisted of a 5 year study curriculum developed with the assistance of the faculty from Grace Theological Seminary, along with practical training in preaching and pastoral care. He has also received training in Biblical Counseling.

Pastor Kramer became a member of Faith Chapel in 1990 and became the pastor in 1997. He served bi-vocational until he retired from the Portsmouth Gaseous Plant in 2018.

Pastor Kramer and Gayle have been married since 1982. They have two grown children and two beautiful grandchildren.
